The Clan

The Clan, a design based on bamboo craftsmanship, is the graduate design project developed by Gamzar in 2017 after his bamboo crafts apprenticeship. Its design concept is inspired by the long inheriting culture of the big Chinese community. Gamzar developed his parametric idea of its design through the analysis of the utensil dimension and created a series of utensil designs by combining bamboo craftsmanship and parametric design methodology using CNC cutting mold.

竹工藝之宗族設計，是金澤於2017年竹藝學師後完成的畢業設計創作。其設計概念來源於華人文化的一脈相承，金澤通過對器皿尺寸的分析發展到其設計的參數化概念，結合竹工藝和CNC切割模具發展出一系列的器皿設計。
